Southern Fried Festival volunteers have the opportunity to assist in many areas of the festival and are a great asset to our organization. There are many ways in which you may volunteer. Opportunities include such things as selling tickets, working in the information tent, assisting with the children’s parade or the scarecrow contest, checking in vendors, and putting up banners just to mention a few. Many activities require that you be able to work in the sun or stand for a lengthy amount of time.

Please review the following volunteer requirements and consider joining our volunteer team. Volunteer candidates must:

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Complete a Volunteer Application.
• Commit to volunteering a minimum of four hours (although you are welcome to volunteer more).

All volunteers must attend a volunteer meeting on September 18 at 10:00 am where you will be given a volunteer t-shirt, a complimentary ticket, and your assignment.  You will be notified of the meeting location.
